  • Sabita Singh is a bright young girl who has appeared for her Higher Secondary board examination in spite of the adverse conditions at her home. She lives with her stepmother who is deaf and dumb but has managed to look after her till now. She is under the organization?s education sponsorship programme
  • RubiMajhi is presently working at Enhance Skill Development and earning around Rs 1000 per month. She was a student at Vocational Training Unit. Her work is commendable indeed.
  • NafisaEram and IndranilGhosh are primary health social workers who have been assessed as being Excellent in their work by an assessment carried out by the Hope Foundation.
  • Prem Prince is a talented boy who has got the rare opportunity to play for the Under 15 Bengal Cricket, after having learnt the nuances of the game from the Cricket Coaching Centre of our organization.
  • ManoramaKhamaru ranked 4th amongst 180 children in her class which itself is an outstanding feat considering that she had to toil for it and had to reach school by walking for around forty minutes from her home.She is also under the organization?s sponsorship programme.
  • Karan Mallick has been selected to play for the Sub Junior Football Trial.
  • Sonia Sardar,RebaSarkar ,Nandini Das and NandiniMondol are inmates of the protection home for girls and also they are the children of sex workers from kalighat.Besides this the common trait amongst these four is that they are rank holders at school.Sonia stood 1st,Reba stood 3rd,Nandini Mondol stood 2nd and Nandini Das stood 3rd in their last promotion examination.

Kalighat Hope Foundation IRELAND Direct beneficiaries : 50 children in coaching & Indirect Beneficiaries: 2800 580 children till date have been mainstreamed to formal school & Out of which 61% are female child & 39% are male.
To provide holistic education to the underprivileged children of Bhowanipur slum Street & slum children Free education, nutrition, medical treatment, coaching, counseling, awareness, parents meeting, training of staff & Peer group, networking with stakeholders, education material support. Bhowanipur slum also known as 14ana/ Chaitano Bridge Hope Foundation Ireland Direct beneficiaries : 60 children in coaching & Indirect Beneficiaries: 3600 300 children till date have been mainstreamed to formal school & Out of which 72% are female child & 28% are male.
Improve the quality life of Harijan children in the slum area of Majerhat during the period 2002-2012. Harijan community Free education, nutrition, medical treatment, coaching, counseling, mothers meeting, exposure trip, mainstreaming in formal school Majerhat Railway station and Mint Railway Children UK upto 2005. Administraciones Apodaka S.L.- Spain 60 beneficiaries Out of 600 children, 300 have been mainstreamed, out of which 180 are male & 120 are female.
Temporary malaria camp with the permission of Health Directorate Govt. of WB in the year 1999 September. Malaria affected people of Kalighat area Admission, medication, treatment & awareness program. Blood test, 500 mosquito net distribution. Kalighat Hope Foundation IRELAND Project Completed 65 were admitted and all went healthy.
Relief work in Bhuj Earthquake affected people Distribution of tents, medication, animal fodder, mosquito nets, food, furniture for schools among 1000 villagers. Khangerpur, Lodai, Amarpali, Nokahama, Pulpatia, Sumrashar, Berda, Umedpur, Rudramata Government of IRELAND through Hope Foundation Ireland Project Completed Villagers have got their temporary shelter & the animals have survived after getting food.
Reconstruction work in Zura village and Zura camp 110 BPL families Earthquake resistant house construction. Micro-credit programme and Hope vocational training institute Kalighat, mothers of the street children of Khidderpore, mothers of Harijan children of Majerhat & community people of Harish Mukherjee Road Adjacent area. Vocational training in embroidery, tailoring, greeting cards, jute craft, clay modeling, appliqué, cutting handmade paper. Khidderpore dockyard area, Majerhat Harijan community, Kalighat red light & area Harish Mukherjee Road Adjacent area. Embassy of Ireland supported the vocational training centre from 2002-2005 and Hope Foundation Ireland is supporting from 2006-till today Present No. of trainees are 35 and 10 trained beneficiaries have formed the production unit wherein they are making dresses. 510 women have completed training, some of them are working in different tailoring shops and rest are executing orders at their own.
People centered sustainable development 300 families from BPL, tribes & other backward classes. Training on Pisi culture, animal husbandry, sustainable agriculture, Seri culture, Micro credit management, 4 preparatory center, Micro saving & credit program, Orientation on people's participatory planning. 3 villages of Jharkhand District Jamtara Embassy of Ireland Running program 120 women are enrolled under Micro saving program, people have formed a co-operative for fisheries. Students are coming from the vulnerable section to the preparatory centers. Rs.5000/- has already been deposited with SBI, Bagdahari.

PBKOJP is participating in Under-14 Tournament, Under-16 Tournament, Boys are enrolling their name in different 1st & 2nd Division Clubs. PBKOJP also organize Under-14 cricket tournament in the month of January 2012

Boys are participating in Sub-Junior Football Tournament. 10 children have enrolled their name in the 5th Division clubs.

Kalighat Red Light Area, Khidderpur Dockyard & Majherhat Irish Aid through The Hope Foundation   300 pregnant women are registered from hospital out of 320 pregnant women, 200 pregnant women get JSY (Janani Surakshya Yojana) support, 2416 Iron Folic Acid (IFA) was distributed, Procure from SAPCS &16000 free distribution of Condom (Nirodh) in our working area, especially among the CSW in Kalighat area to prevent RTI/STI & HIV-AIDS and OCP (Mala D) among the women group for family planning, 26000 patients are treated and get free medicines through Doctor?s clinic, Participations are gradually increased in Awareness Camps & Campaigns. We have covered 18000 people through these events, Hepatitis B immunizations are completed 110 children in Kalighat and 129 children in Khidderpur area & 48 nos. of Latrine construction in Khidderpur and Kalighat areas & Hit Malaria Campaign was organized in the collaboration with Godrej, Mumbai
